1 Mattie’s at Green Pastures

The iconic restaurant’s comeback means the return of Thanksgiving brunch at Mattie’s. It involves carving stations with sage-brined turkey breast and slow-roasted prime rib, plus brunch-friendly dishes like brioche French toast and eggs Benedict. The meal includes one alcoholic drink for adults. There are two seatings, the first at 11 a.m. and the second at 1 p.m. It will run $85 for adults, $40 for children between the ages of six to 12, and it’s free for children under the age of six.

2 Hoover’s Cooking

Hoover’s knows comfort food well, so it makes sense the Manor Road restaurant is dishing out Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Meals come with one entree (turkey to fried chicken to grilled portabello mushrooms), two sides (candied yams, black-eyed peas, butter beans), plus all sorts of rice, dressings, sauces, and bread. It’s $19.99 for adults, and the kids’ turkey place for children 12 years old and younger is $9.95.

3 Trace

The W Hotel’s downtown restaurant is offering a prix fixe three course menu from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. for $57 a person, with dishes like with proscuitto-wrapped turkey breast and apple spice cake. Children age 12 and under have their own prix fixe three-course options for $20.

4 Apis Restaurant & Apiary

Thanksgiving at the Spicewood restaurant lasts from 11 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and includes a prix fixe three-course meal with choices of entrée, like cedar-brined and slow-roasted turkey breast or honey-glazed pork. $70 for adults, and $20 for children 12 years and younger. 5 The Driskill

While Thanksgiving dinner at the historic downtown hotel is already booked up, there are still reservations available for the Driskill Grill’s family-friendly brunch buffet. It is offered noon to 5 p.m., and costs $89 for adult and $45 for children (children 5 and under are free). Dishes will include banana bread French toast, slow-roasted turkey, garlic whipped potatoes, and more.

6 24 Diner

No reservations are necessary for the all-hours diner’s $29 Thanksgiving dinner, which starts conveniently at 10:30 a.m. Brined and roasted turkey breast and turkey leg confit are included, along with ham, gravy, and cranberries. 7 Nickel City

Nickel City’s casual Thanksgiving approach includes turkey sliders, gravy backs, and Wild Turkey pours. The bar is also encouraging people to bring donations for Caritas. Those who donate three items will receive what it refers to as a turkey treat. It runs from 8 to 2 a.m.

8 Moonshine Patio Bar & Grill

10 Trio

The Four Seasons restaurant offers an all-day buffet (11 a.m. to 8 p.m.) featuring over 80 different food items, from omelette station and snow crab claws to pumpkin spice-glazed ham and whoopie pies. Or choose to dine in the elegant ballroom until 3 p.m, where the meal is served with a side of live piano music. $88 per adult and $35 per child.

11 Second Bar + Kitchen

Second Bar is taking its Thanksgiving meal up to the Archer Hotel in the Domain Northside with seatings from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The menu includes roasted turkey breast with cranberry-orange relish, jalapeno creamed corn, and sweet potato biscuits. There are family-style dishes, a carving station, and bar buffet. It’s $38 for adults and $19 for children. Hotel guests can even order the meal as room service all day and night long.

12 The Carillon

Both the South Lamar and The Domain locations are offering traditional Thanksgiving buffets from noon to 3 p.m. It’s the perfect setting to catch any of numerous football games on the multiple televisions.
